A Father’s Day Surprise

I wanted to surprise my husband with tickets to see Romeo and Juliet for Father’s Day. He teaches Romeo and Juliet and said that he would loved to have seen it in the Globe Theater.  So I researched and this is what I found.  Amazing!!!

The people were so nice.  I wanted to give him more than just a paper that said he had tickets, so I contacted the theater and they sent me a brochure through the mail, and very promptly – I might add.

When we got there the performance was wonderful.  It was very entertaining and the cast was amazing.  My husband was very impressed.  He thoroughly enjoyed it.  We had excellent seats, but I really don’t think that there is a bad seat in the house.  It’s a very small and cozy place.  The building is gorgeous.  And you are entertained from the time you get there until the end – even during intermission.  What a treat.

We will definitely go back.  And then to my pleasant surprise I got an email the next day – which I am sure that everyone who went did- but it did make it personable. So thank you to everyone at the theater for a marvelous job and for being so accommodating.
